ASSESSMENTS - all Techmobility branches or agents are highly experienced and can provide impartial advice about the best possible adaptation to help overcome particular difficulties. Assessments can be arranged by appointment either at our premises, your own home or your local car dealers. In most cases demonstration of the actual equipment can be arranged.

ADVICE - regarding choice of suitable vehicles, payment schemes, VAT implications, etc.

LEFT FOOTED THROTTLES - normally use “Flip-up” system where only one pedal can be showing at one time.

PEDAL GUARDS- where possible prefer to fit brake only guard with hinged throttle pedal which allows room each side of the brake pedal for the driver to rest their feet without the risk of them slipping under the brake pedal

SWIVEL SEATS - agents for all the major suppliers e.g Carmobility/Gowrings, Elap, Turny, Turnout and can independently advise about the most suitable

PERSON HOISTS AND OTHER TRANSFER SYSTEMS - are agents for the Braun Multi-lift and the Milford hoist as well as “E Z Lift” seat-to-stand, thigh raisers, rising platforms etc.

ROOF TOP WHEELCHAIR STORAGE - e.g. Autochair, Chairtopper, the GZ91 or Wymo systems

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE VEHICLES - will advise on basic selection of vehicle depending on requirements and budget; help select most appropriate manufacturer and propose layout and specification (also have access to a range of quality used vehicles)

RAMPS, LIFTS, DOOR OPENING/CLOSING, WHEELCHAIR & PASSENGER, RESTRAINTS, SPECIAL NEEDS HARNESSES, EXTENDED SEAT BELTS -
if we can't supply it, it doesn’t exist! - but we might be able to make it!

OTHERS - repairs and servicing of all makes of equipment, transfer equipment from one vehicle to another, advise regarding re-selling or disposal of equipment no longer required
