Techmobility boot hoists can be fitted to all makes and models of vehicle. The modular design ensures they are easily and cheaply transferable to future vehicles. We have three main models which can cope with all types of wheelchair and scooter (assuming they will fit into the vehicle). All three systems are simple and effortless
to operate: The MAXI The Maxi (above left) will lift and store very heavyweight wheelchairs or scooters up to 110kg or even heavier. Each hoist is separately selected and prepared depending on the load to be lifted and the operator's capabilities.
The model shown on the (above centre) is the Techmobility MIDI hoist which will take most electric wheelchairs or scooters weighing up to 80kg.
The Techmobility Mini (above right) is specially designed to lift and store manual wheelchairs or the component parts of scooters with a total safe lifting weight of 35kg. Although hoists are a relatively inexpensive adaptation, their installation would allow the vehicle to be purchased FREE OF VAT assuming the other qualifying criteria are met.
